Animation Revelation & Art Fiesta 2010

This looks to be a busy week for the Visual Arts Society, as we bring to you two of our club’s staple events: Animation Revelation and Art Fiesta!

AnimeWorks is proud to bring to NTU  two fan favourite Anime movies as part of our semesterly Animation Revelation screening event!

Timings and Dates as follows:

The screening is free and open to all members of the NTUVAS! Membership can be applied for at the door. Free Refreshments provided! Please register using the contact details as provided in the above poster.

All movies will be in their original Japanese language with English subtitles.

The Visual Arts Society’s big event, ARTS FIESTA , is here once again! A mega event starring  all three aspects of the VAS, AnimeWorks, Comics Ensemble and Designer’s Club, with our powers combined, we’ll be bringing you a veritable festival of activities and fun, right here in NTU ON CAMPUS. Catch the Fiesta outside LT 1A on the 18th, 19th and 22nd of March 2009 from 10am to 5pm.

Expect a shopping bazaar, air-brush tattooing, competitions, performances and lots lots more.

So what do we here at AnimeWorks have in store for you at the event? Read on to find out more!


Back by popular demand, AnimeWorks is proud to present our “Guess the Anime Song” competition! Ongoing throughout all three days of Arts Fiesta, the game is simple! All you have to do is listen out for and guess the anime songs we’ll be playing  at our booth. Score points to win loads of prizes! We’ll have different sets of songs each day, so to all you Anisong aficionados, come on down on all three days and show us your stuff!


We’ll also be holding an Anime Merchandise booth during Art Fiesta. On sale are authentic Japanese imported goods, graciously supplied by our affiliate Kareshi Kanojo no Mise. Check ’em out for a wide variety of goods from all your favourite Anime, straight from Japan itself!


Something new to look out for this year! Interested in cosplay? Ever thought of trying it out? Well here’s your chance! Check out out our Cosplay exhibition section!  Not only can you take in our exhibit section detailing the history and culture behind the art of Cosplay, we also have Costume Try-Out booth where you can don the Shinigami uniform from Bleach and get your picture taken! Also, do catch our club members’ cosplay dance performance Friday and Monday noon! All costumes sponsored by our affiliate: Pan-in-the-Box
