STGCC 2011!

The Singapore Toy, Game and Comic Convention (STGCC) is here for its 4th year running. And its looking better and bigger than ever.  Details after the jump, or just click the link below.

As you can see in the banner above, STGCC will run from the 20th to the 21st of August  this year. The date’s pretty reasonable, as its not too close to any exams or anything (read, AFA).

STGCC has managed to get some really interesting people over this time. First and foremost, the luscious Kipi will be gracing our shores. Now, Kipi is one of the best cosplayers I’ve ever had the chance to lay eyes on, and I’m really glad that she will be coming over this year. Good cosplays are always  a joy to look at, and beautiful cosplayers even more so. ^^

As if Kipi isn’t enough to bring in the crowd (and believe me, the will be CROWDS),  we have a guest from Marvel Studios this year, Mr. C.B Cebulski.  Mr. Cebulski is a talent scout from Marvel, traveling the world in search of the best new artists to join him and the rest of the crew at Marvel Studios. Which brings us to our next item on the menu…

A Portfolio Review! If you think you’ve got what it takes to write the next Spiderman or Iron Man, then bring along your portfolio. Who knows, you might even end up working alongside Stan Lee on his next big story!  Details on portfolio submissions may be found here, and remember, submissions end 12 August. So hurry, hurry~

There’s also your usual cosplay and gaming competition, and a whole host of other activities. Whatever your interests, you can be sure that STGCC will have something exciting waiting for you.

Hope to see you there!
